Migraines

Migraine headaches are characterized by intense pain on one or both sides of the head, nausea and/or vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, and blurred vision. They usually consist of four stages: prodrome , aura, headache, and post-drome. You may or may not experience all four stages.

Common treatment for migraines include dietary adjustments, stress management, changes to your daily routine or sleep cycle, and medication.

Medication can be a life-saver, especially if your migraines are frequent and intense enough to really disrupt your life. But most medications treat the pain itself, not necessarily the root imbalance that caused the migraine in the first place.

Simply put, migraines are a severe stress response to a certain trigger, and the triggers will vary from person to person. While it’s important to discover and manage your migraine triggers, Brain Training can actually help the brain to stop responding to those triggers, thus preventing the migraine cycle from ever taking hold.

Life without migraines? It’s possible.
